Utterance ranking (felicity measurements)

Fix a series of context parameters:

World-count (enter a number):

Speaker's belief state (a subset of your world-set: i,j,...)
{}

Hearer's belief state (a subset of your world-set: i,j,...)
{}

Context standard (0 ≤ n ≤ 1)

Specify your question (in the format i,j,...;k,...;... ):
{}

Notes

This script ranks utterances in context. You fix the context parameters using the fields at left. The script then ranks uttterance-contents (propositions) according to a system of measures that balances the quality, quantity, and relevance, in roughly the manner laid out by Paul Grice in 'Logic and conversation'.

Inferences about the speaker's belief state

Fix a series of context parameters:

World-count (enter a number):

Context standard (0 ≤ n ≤ 1)

Specify your question (in the format i,j,...;k,...;... ):
{}

Speaker's utterance (enter a subset of your world-set: i,j,...)
{}

Notes

This script outputs licensed inferences about the speaker's belief state based on his utterance and the question under discussion.
